If you're planning on jumping into Old School RuneScape, let us know below what's your reason!

Runescape Outriders and Outriders aren't the only two games

The Shattered League is running from OSRS Gold today through March 3. So if you've always wanted to go back to Old School RuneScape, this could be the perfect time to do it. If you're planning on jumping into Old School RuneScape, let us know below what's your reason!

Runescape Outriders and Outriders aren't the only two games that gamers will think of as a pair and so the sight of an Runescape player addressing r/Outriders could be quite a surprise. Nonetheless, this led to a wholesome post and interaction between fans of each and/or both games. The whole thing boils down to one former Jagex employees: David Osborne, otherwise popularly known within the Runescape community as Mod Osborne.

Osborne recently posted on LinkedIn that he's quit Jagex after 15 years of content editing story design, narrative design, and lead design. He made the decision according to his own words, to "test his experiences in the rest of the market." Osborne is leaving Jagex and heading straight to Square Enix on the publishing side, as a Senior Designer. The new role will include overseeing "some amazing games" starting with Outriders.

This reveal led Redditor FatNWackyRS to reach out to r/Outriders with a simple message about Mod Osborne who he described as the "warm and friendly "Dad" face at Jagex." FatNWackyRS describes the many things that Osborne has contributed to the community over the years, including some videos, including performing as Mod Elfborne in order to promote Prifddinas (an Elf City in Runescape) in livestreams, joining and supporting Jagex's vision.

Many gamers or communities might be upset at the loss of a famous company's face, FatNWackyRS invited other Runescape players to discuss their experiences. One person, in particular, claims that they've lost and won when playing simultaneously in Runescape together with Outriders. Many were excited by the news, some of whom were not familiar with Osborne before, thanks to this glowing review from an individual in the Runescape community.

What exactly happens on the other part of the Outriders fence is yet to be determined, but the fans are aware of a number of exciting things are coming in the coming years to this game. Outriders' Worldslayer expansion is due to be released in the spring, and is scheduled to be released for the end of the year, and beyond that, People Can Fly has a variety of other projects in the work--including another game that is being developed by Square Enix. It is unclear if Osborne will be involved with Buy RS Gold the latter, that remains to be seen.
