This is a genuinely one-of-a-kind tour that even most Indian wildlife aficionados neglect. It comprises two National Parks in India's distant north-eastern region: Kaziranga National Park and Manas National Park.

The Kaziranga National Park is home to the world's biggest population of the endangered "one-horned Indian rhinoceros." The park also supports half of the world's population of genetically pure Wild Water Buffaloes, wild elephants, and possibly the densest tiger population. It is also a birdwatcher's paradise, with over 500 different kinds of birds — Some of the species found here are the Crested Serpent Eagle, Palla's Fishing Eagle, Greyheaded Fishing Eagle, Swamp Partridge, Bar-headed Goose, Whistling Teal, Bengal Florican, Storks, Herons, and Pelicans.

The Manas National Park, located in the Eastern Himalayan foothills, is flanked by the massive Manas River and serves as a border between Bhutan and India.

Manas National Park in Assam is the only area in the world that has been designated as a biosphere reserve, a natural heritage site, a Project Tiger Reserve, and a Project Elephant Reserve all at the same time.
