Types Of Water Cooled Condenser
Plate and Frame Condensers: Plate and frame condensers use a series of plates to transfer heat from the hot vapor to the cooling water. The plates have a large surface area, which allows for efficient heat transfer, and the cooling water flows between the plates.

Water-cooled condensers are a  type of heat exchanger that use water as the cooling medium to transfer heat from the hot vapor to the cooling water. There are several types of water-cooled condensers, including:

types of water cooled condenser

Double Tube Sheet Condensers: Double tube sheet condensers are similar to shell and tube condensers, but they have an additional tube sheet that separates the cooling water from the hot vapor, reducing the risk of cross-contamination between the two fluids.

Plate and Frame Condensers: Plate and frame condensers use a series of plates to transfer heat from the hot vapor to the cooling water. The plates have a large surface area, which allows for efficient heat transfer, and the cooling water flows between the plates.

Spiral Tube Condensers: Spiral tube condensers are similar to shell and tube condensers, but they have a spiral-shaped tube inside the shell, which provides a larger surface area for heat transfer and a more compact design.

Vertical Tube Condensers: Vertical tube condensers are used in applications where space is limited. They consist of a series of vertical tubes through which the hot vapor flows, and the cooling water flows over the outside of the tubes, condensing the vapor.
