We discovered ransomware in 2012 that imitated the FBI to extort money from unsuspecting victims. Due to our discoveries, we invented the term FBI and were the first website to provide information about the computer virus. Ransomware has changed a lot in the United States.
FBI MoneyPak virus is a cyber threat that falls under the ransomware [1] category. It does not encrypt personal information like Locky and other malware. Instead, it locks the screen and displays a fake message explaining that the user is violating the law. Hackers claim that victims have been threatened by hackers who claim the FBI or CIA has locked their computer. The only way to get control is to pay between $100 and $500 via MoneyPak or another service. This cyber threat is available in multiple forms, and the different AV engines can recognize if it's under different names.
