Advanced Sanskrit Language Course - Tenses, Moods & Cases - HUA
The Advanced Sanskrit Language – Tenses, Moods, & Cases course is an excellent opportunity for students to advance their knowledge of the Sanskrit language.

Sanskrit is considered to be one of the oldest and most influential languages in the world. It is the primary liturgical language of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism, and has been used for philosophical, religious, and scientific purposes for centuries. The Sanskrit language is known for its complex grammar, which includes tenses, moods, and cases. The Advanced Sanskrit Language – Tenses, Moods, & Cases course is designed to help students navigate the complex grammatical rules of Sanskrit and improve their proficiency in the language. 

 

The course content for Advanced Sanskrit Language – Tenses, Moods, & Cases includes the following topics: 

 

Imperative Mood: The imperative mood is used to express a command or request. In this course, students will learn how to use the imperative mood in Sanskrit language. 

 

2nd vibhakti: The 2nd vibhakti refers to the accusative case, which is used to indicate the direct object of a sentence. Students will learn how to use the 2nd vibhakti in Sanskrit language. 

 

7th vibhakti: The 7th vibhakti refers to the locative case, which is used to indicate the location of an action. Students will learn how to use the 7th vibhakti in Sanskrit language. 

 

Future tense: The future tense is used to indicate an action that will take place in the future. Students will learn how to use the future tense in Sanskrit language. 

 

Past tense: The past tense is used to indicate an action that has already taken place. Students will learn how to use the past tense in Sanskrit language. 

 

6th vibhakti: The 6th vibhakti refers to the ablative case, which is used to indicate separation or distance. Students will learn how to use the 6th vibhakti in Sanskrit language. 

 

Numbers: Sanskrit language uses a unique numbering system that can be challenging for non-native speakers. In this course, students will learn how to use larger numbers in Sanskrit language. 

 

Wise sayings: Sanskrit is known for its vast collection of wise sayings and proverbs. In this course, students will have the opportunity to learn and understand some of the most famous wise sayings in Sanskrit. 

 

By the end of this course, students will have a greater understanding of how to use tenses, moods, and cases in Sanskrit, as well as how to talk about the future and the past in detail. Students will also have the opportunity to read, write, and understand longer stories, essays, and poems in Sanskrit. The course is an excellent opportunity for students to deepen their understanding and appreciation of the Sanskrit language, and to enhance their proficiency in the language.
