Canada planning for Vaccine Passport for International Travellers

The federal government is working with its partners to develop a credential that will make it easier for Canadians to travel in Canada and abroad.

The Government of Canada Introduces evidence of vaccination in collaboration with local communities and indigenous peoples.

At a press conference this afternoon, Canada Immigration Minister Marco Mendicino said the purpose of the trust was to make travel in Canada easier and safer.

On the other hand, there are still some limitations. The Canadian government has restricted flights from India.

No date has been set for the admission of unvaccinated tourists.
