Solution 1: Remove and reinstall the printer driver
- On your Windows computer, click the Start menu available at the bottom-left corner of the screen.
- Type ‘control panel’ in the search panel and hit the Enter key.
- From the search result, double-click the Control Panel app.
- Click on Devices and Printers, and then when you see the devices listed, delete the printer driver that is being detected as an unknown device.
