Water Systems, Underground Wiring, And Sewer Lines Often Use PVC Pipes
PVC Pipes

The resistance to fracture of PVC pipe is a significant performance benefit. While PVC Pipes are comprised of a tough PVC compound, the PVC Pipe itself has the ability to yield without fracturing under strain. PVC pipes can be utilised successfully when the surface will be subjected to external loading, such as road traffic*. PVC Pipes modulus of elasticity is a significant advantage for subterranean applications, particularly if soil movement or vibration is expected. PVC's modulus of elasticity minimises the magnitude of pressure surges, i.e. water hammer, in pressure applications. PVC-O Pipes are more resistant to water pounding than any other type of pressure pipe.

Joint tightness is a critical criterion for all pipe applications. Deep insertion, push-together gasketed, and solvent cement connections are all options for PVC pipes. In actual service, gasketed PVC Pipes joints have consistently outperformed regular pipe goods. PVC Pipes with Fusion Joints are also now available, providing a monolithic totally sealed pipeline ideal for trenchless installations and polluted areas.
