Iverheal 12mg Tablet contains Ivermectin 12mg is an anthelmintic (antiparasitic) drug. This tablet is used to treat strongyloidiasis, onchocerciasis and scabies and is used as an orphan drug in cases of lice, blepharitis, filariasis and gnathostomiasis. This tablet is used safely in children weighing more than 15 kg. It has recently been used as an orphan drug in the treatment of mild and moderate SARS-COV-2 infection.

ADVANTAGES OF IVERHEAL 12MG TABLET

MECHANISM OF ACTION OF IVERHEAL 12MG TAB
Iverheal 12 mg tablet (Ivermectin 12 mg) binds to glutamate-dependent chloride ion channels present in microfilariae muscle and nerve cells, causing increased chloride ion influx resulting in paralysis and death of the parasite. Iverheal 12 mg tablet acts as a GABA agonist, interrupting neurosynaptic transmission in the CNS.
HOW IVERHEAL 12MG TABLET WORKS
This tablet is an anthelmintic (antiparasitic) drug, it increases the influx of chloride ions causing paralysis and death of parasites by binding to glutamate-dependent chloride ion channels.
