A locums company is exactly what it says: a company that employs temporary doctors. The term is currently trending, with the number of companies using such staff on the rise, particularly in the US.
The problem with a lot of people applying to locums jobs is they're only searching by a particular area or title. Unsurprisingly, most locums companies haven't seen a bump in applicants since so few people are looking outside of their title. This all changed when locums company created their Locums Job Box. The company set up a box and marketed it to locums companies, stating any job title wanted the chance to be in the box.
