Ritter communications speed test
In the present time of megabits, gigabits, terabits and that's only the tip of the iceberg, it's difficult to tell how much speed you want with regards to utilizing the Web.

Ritter Communications Speed Test is a tool used to measure the speed of internet connection between two devices. It is based on the principle of sending out short pulses of radio waves at regular intervals and measuring how long it takes to receive them back.

The device measures the time taken for these signals to travel from the sender to the receiver and then calculates the distance between them.

It uses a technique called Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) which was invented by Dr. Robert E. Ritter Jr. in the late 1960's. He patented his invention under the name TDR in 1972.
