The global onlinehackathon, the NFT Vision Hack, has commenced, and is set to continue until 30th August. Theevent, which is sure to interest many of those seeking help with business development in Gibraltar, has brought togethertalented creatives and engineers seeking to devise new solutions in the worldof non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
Meanwhile, the Gibraltar government’s businessdevelopment arm, Gibraltar Finance, has signed up to be an official partner ofthe NFT Vision Hack.

The hackathon – whichbegan on 3rd July – followsthe success of Post-Covid Hack 2020, which saw more than 1,200 participantsfrom around the globe.
The NFT Vision Hack has been organised byGibraltar-based Nifty Labs, a partnership between blockchain and NFT pioneerIndorse and Coinsilium, a blockchain and open finance venture builder.

Digital and financial services minister forthe Gibraltar government, Albert Isola, commented: “The NFT Vision Hack 2021 isa wonderful opportunity for industry-leading developers and artists tocollaborate, share expertise and find innovative solutions using NFTtechnologies.

The Hack is set to encompass a series ofworkshops providing the opportunity to find out how to create and market NFTs.Gibraltar Finance is not the only sponsor of the event, with others includingCircle, Rarible, IPFS and Filecoin.

Four track challenges will make up theHackathon: ‘Build on Rarible protocol’, ‘NFT Payment Solutions’, ‘Scalable NFTArt Projects’, and ‘Gaming and NFTs’. Participants are competing to win morethan USD 68,000 in prizes.
