Save the Children India is a non-profit organisation that works to improve the living conditions of Indian children. Bal Raksha Bharat, the organisation, was founded in 2008. The Societies Registration Act of 1861 was used to register it as a NPO.
Save the Children has been operating unofficially since 1940, but it was officially recognised as Bal Raksha Bharat in 2008. It has cared for 10.1 million children as a result of its ongoing efforts.
