Child Rights and You (CRY) is an Indian non-governmental organisation (NGO) dedicated to ensuring children's freedoms.
Rippan Kapur, an Indian Airlines purser, founded the organisation in 1979. CRY collaborates with 102 local non-governmental organisations in 19 Indian states and has impacted the lives of over 3,000,000 children.
CRY meets the basic needs of children by collaborating with parents, teachers, Anganwadi (Indian country child care centre) workers, networks, local and state legislatures, and the children themselves. The organisation focuses on changing practises and practises at the grassroots level and influencing public policy at the fundamental level in order to create a climate in which children are valued.
