What we know about World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic

An excerpt from the upcoming lore anthology, Folk and Fairy Tales of Azeroth for Blizzard's World of Warcraft has finally revealed that Chromie the NPC is transgender, and uses pronouns for her/his. Scheduled to release later this month on May 25. the book titled World of Warcraft: Folk and Fairy Tales of Azeroth has short stories that enrich the lore within the vastly multiplayer online roleplaying wow tbc classic gold game.

The first time Chromie appeared in the game was in 2004. Chromie is a time-travelling bronze dragon, who adopts the form as a female gnome for the Visage Day ceremony to interact with mortals who play the game. When she is a bronze dragon, Chromie's name would be Chronormu which is considered male due to the fact that it contains"ormu," which is a male "ormu" suffix whereas female bronze dragon names typically end with the "ormi" suffix. An recurring character in the game, Chromie appears throughout WoW's many expansions, offering quests for players and is also available as a playable character in Blizzard's sadly defunct MOBA, Heroes of The Storm.

As reported by PCGamesN the fans who received the early editions of Blizzard's Folk and Fairy Tales of Azeroth tales of legends have found Chlomie's favorite pronouns are officially revealed in the story "Visage Day". The story follows Chromie opts to be the shape of a female Gnome during her Visage Day ceremony, a coming-of-age ceremony where bronze dragons take on the form of mortals. After deciding on her mortal form, Chromie is asked why she specifically chose to be female, and she answers "It suits me."

The fans quickly posted on Twitter to ask WoW's story director, and the author of the tale, Steve Danuser for further clarification to Chromie's gender identity. As Chromie has a mortal and dragon form, fans were eager to find out what gender she was considered to be. fluid, male in the form of bronze dragon or male in mortal forms. Thankfully, Danuser cleared it up for the fans, saying that the use of the pronoun in Chromie's tale was deliberate and that "Prior to the Visage ceremonial day, Chronormu is he/him. Later, she/he can be seen as a dragon and mortal forms." Although the forthcoming book will finally prove it is true that Chromie has been identified as transgender for the first time, she's not the only one in the game, with Pelagos an important NPC that is a prominent NPC in the World of Warcraft Classic TBC expansion revealed as being transgender when the expansion came out in 2020.

The World of Warcraft community has frequently speculated on the gender of Chromie's character, it was never confirmed by Blizzard until now with cheap wow tbc gold. This will be a wonderful revelation as fans can finally put their doubts and theories to rest. Although it has taken Blizzard nearly 17 years to verify that Chromie is actually transgender, her story is a welcomed step towards more diversity and LGBTQand representation in video games.
