Ventricular Assist Devices Market
A ventricular assist device, or VAD, is a mechanical pump that helps people with weak or failing hearts maintain heart function and blood flow. The device is implanted in the body and circulates blood from the lower chambers of the heart to the rest of the body.
If one or both of the heart's lower chambers, the ventricles, fail to function properly, a VAD may be used. If your ventricles are not working properly due to heart disease, you may benefit from a VAD.
Ventricular Assist Devices is a multi-step process that produces high purity glass soot for optical fibre. The creation of the soot preform step is the focus of this work.
