Using Microfluidics And Microarrays, Biochips Are Developed
Biochips

The sensors on a biochip, which can differ depending on the type, are what make it function. There are biochips for a variety of uses, including pH monitoring, oxygen detection, genetic decoding, and others. The most crucial element of a Biochips is the microarray, a two-dimensional grid of biosensors. The flat substrate on which these sensors are attached may be passive (i.e., accomplishes nothing) or active (i.e., performs some function) (assists the sensor in signal transduction via electrical or electromechanical components). A microchip and a biochip are not the same thing. A biochip is (computing) a microchip created from biological macromolecules (especially DNA) rather than a semiconductor, whereas a microchip is an integrated circuit and a microprocessor is a microprocessor.
