Cytokine Market
Cytokines circulate in picomolar concentrations and can almost tenfold in size in response to an infection or inflammation. They transmit various signals for cell survival, proliferation, differentiation, and functional activity.
Controlling the development and function of blood and immune system cells depends heavily on cytokine. When injected subcutaneously, intramuscularly, or intravenously, they can be used to treat cancer and/or assist in preventing or managing chemotherapy side effects. By transmitting signals that can result in abnormal cell death and lengthen the lifespan of healthy cells, they also contribute to the promotion of anti-cancer activity.
