Jagex is announcing that after 18 years of being the PvP battlefield RuneScape Gold, Duel Arena will be ending its presence in RuneScape and a new region can be added. RuneScape will soon introduce Het's Oasis which will feature a completely new setting, new ways to earn skills and two mini-quests to experience.
Kicking off today with the Oasis Restoration The players will be tasked to transform the Duel Arena following a cataclysmic earthquake that destroyed the entire area. They will collaborate to transform into a new arena from "a bloodthirsty pit for fighting where heroes have long staked their fortune in one-on one matches and a peaceful oasis."
The participants will help rebuild the area as they complete daily chores which earn them rewards depending on their progress. Participants in the event for community members will get exclusive rewards from the event that include a new Crocodile pet, a title, the theme of deserts in cosmetic armour, as well as the footwear of the 'Gators.
After the two-week community celebration the newly constructed area will be named Het's Oasis which is a place for exploration and learning, with a variety of instructional content that will help those who want to enhance their Agility, Hunter and Farming skills.
"Heroes will also help The God of Death in two Eye of Het mini-quests as they go into the Tomb of Het in search of an enthralling item that OSRS Gold For Sale will assist the gods of the younger generation in the Elder God Wars saga," the press release reads.
