Relief supplies from KPK for malnourished Afghans
DEFENDERS; PESHAWAR the people of the Mardan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have handed over food aid to the Afghan authorities on the Pak-Afghan border at Torkham.
According to details, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Neelam Khan Toro, with the help of locals, handed over two trucks of relief goods to the Afghan authorities at the TorKhum border in view of Ramadan.
Relief supplies include rice, flour, pulses, ghee, sugar, salt, dates, and tea leaves.
Neelam Khan Toro, Central President of Behadar Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Endeavor Lines Club Mardan, handed over the relief items to the officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in the presence of the organizers of the Pak-Afghan Cooperation Forum.
The relief items will be provided to deserving families in Afghanistan, said Neelam Khan Toro. Go. He thanked the philanthropists and said that the plight of the oppressed Afghan people could be overcome through joint efforts.
On this occasion, the officials of the Islamic Emirates of Afghanistan thanked the Government of Pakistan and the NGOs and hoped that the cooperation with the Afghan people would continue in the future as well.
