Gastrointestinal Stents Market
For the relief of obstructive symptoms in a variety of disorders that clog the GI tract, a gastrointestinal (GI) stent has been created. Self-expanding metal stents (SEMS) have taken the place of older varieties of Gastrointestinal Stents, and fluoroscopy-guided insertion has been replaced by endoscopic stent placement. Modern SEMSs have been created to prevent issues like stent migration and re-obstruction, and indications for stent use have recently been expanded to include benign diseases as well as malignant obstruction. The several kinds of stents used in the upper GI tract, their methods of insertion, their indications, and their clinical results will be covered in this review.
