MOSFET and IGBT Gate Drivers; used in medium and heavy current switching power supplies
MOSFET and IGBT Gate Drivers Market

MOSFETs and IGBTs are two types of switch mode power supply transistors. A Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor (MOSFET) is a field Effect Transistor that is typically formed by controlled oxidation of silicon. It employs insulated gates, which enable changing conductivity as the applied voltage varies according to application requirements. MOSFET and IGBT Gate Drivers property is used to amplify or switch electric signals. An Insulated-gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) is a three-terminal power semiconductor device used as an electronic switch, consisting of four alternating layers (P-N-P-N) controlled by a metal-oxide-semiconductor (MOS) structure with no regenerative action. It is essentially a MOSFET controlling a Bipolar Junction Power Transistor (BJT), with both transistors on a single piece of silicon.
