Dosimeter
Dosimeters were initially film badges. The amount of radiation received would be calculated by gathering and processing the badges, which would leave a mark on the film from the radiation exposure.
The procedure is now lot simpler thanks to technology. Digital badges, like the Instadose + Dosimeters, may nearly quickly download the data to a computer, tablet, or mobile device after detecting and recording exposure. The little badges can easily be clipped on garments and kept with people rather than having to be collected and redistributed. It's a better choice in terms of measuring and controlling radiation.
