The non-destructive testing (NDT) systems company Saab Medav Technologies GmbH, which develops and instals NDT systems primarily for the automotive industry, announced in March 2019 that it had acquired the business. Saab Medav Technologies GmbH is a multinational conglomerate and one of the largest industrial manufacturing companies. Siemens has expanded their Simcenter portfolio with a variety of creative and highly configurable NVH quality testing solutions as a result of this acquisition.
ACOUSTIFLEX HFI technology, a polyurethane technology for NVH Materials market that provides acoustic comfort in automobiles, was introduced by Huntsman, a manufacturer of chemical products for consumers and industrial customers, in July 2018. In comparison to acoustic materials, ACOUSTIFLEX materials have a number of processing advantages, such as quicker demould times, which allows for higher part production rates.
