Voice can serve as a useful tool in identifying the risk or presence of various medical conditions such as coronary artery disease, depression, Parkinson’s disease, and more. Vocal biomarkers are signals that can be detected in the voice, and are linked to a variety of disorders, such as coronary artery disease, anxiety, and depression. These biomarkers can be also identified during diagnosis of cognitive impairment, respiratory disorders, Alzheimer's disease, traumatic brain injury, and are generally used to detect diseases using speech features in a non-invasive way.
