Stainless Steel Sheet and Strip Market
A stainless steel sheet / plate is a type of sheet metal that is formed into thin, flat pieces through an industrial process. Stainless Steel Sheet and Strip are widely used in the construction of buildings, medical tables, decoration, home appliances, automobiles, and air conditioning systems, among other things. In fact, the terms "sheet" and "plate" are interchangeable. Both are flat-rolled metal products with arbitrary minimum thickness and widths depending on the metal type. Stainless steel plate thicknesses are typically equal to or greater than 5 mm(3/16"), with widths greater than 250 mm (10"). A stainless steel sheet has a thickness of less than 5 mm(3/16") and a width of equal to or greater than 600 mm (24").
