An open access, peer-reviewed journal called Biomarker Research covers every facet of biomarker research. The goal of Biomarker Research is to publish original findings, innovative ideas, commentary, and reviews pertaining to biomarker investigation from all biomedical fields.
To develop, validate, and commercialise biomarkers as well as companion diagnostics, research institutes, pharmaceutical companies, and biotechnology firms collaborate and partner with providers of Biomarker Research Services. A companion diagnostic is a diagnostic test used in conjunction with a therapeutic medication to establish the drug's suitability for a particular patient. The development of companion diagnostics is based on companion biomarkers, which are biomarkers that may one day aid in the prediction of response or severe toxicity to a therapeutic drug.
