A microelectromechanical system (MEMS) is a type of integrated device that combines electrical and mechanical parts in a compact size
Microelectromechanical Systems (MEMS) Market

The technology of microscopic devices, especially those with moving parts, is known as microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), also written as microelectromechanical systems (or microelectronic and microelectromechanical systems). Nanotechnology and nanoelectromechanical systems (NEMS) are the result of their convergence at the nanoscale. MEMS are also known as microsystem technology (MST) in Europe and micromachines in Japan.

Smartphones use a variety of Microelectromechanical Systems (MEMS)   sensors, including gyroscopes, pressure sensors, and accelerometers, among others. These sensors are used to monitor characteristics and provide a central system for autonomous control.
