Coronary Stents Market
Stents are medical devices used to treat obstructed vascular pathways. Percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty is the name of the procedure (PTCA). The term "coronary stent" or "heart stent" refers to stents used to treat arterial stenosis. Additionally, these stents are utilised to stop arteries from re-narrowing. Three types of coronary stents are available: bare metal, drug-eluting, and Coronary Stents. The risk of restenosis is 20–30% even though bare metal stents significantly enhance patients' angiographic and clinical results. This is one of the main factors preventing the next generation of drug-eluting stents from being developed and limiting the use of bare metal stents.
