Review of The Body Shop's CBD Facial Cream Skin Care Collection
Look, I get it. All of us are CBD-tired. But if there's one brand we shouldn't give the stink eye to, it's The Body Shop. Back in 1992, they were the first mainstream brand to use CBD Facial Cream in their skincare products. Since then, the Hemp Hand Protector has become a cult product for dry hands, which is a good thing because we're all getting cracked knuckles from washing our hands so much.
The Body Shop recently released a 3-part CBD collection to add to its wide range of body care and skin care products with CBD Facial Cream. They were kind enough to send me the new books to review.

How does Nano Face Cream affect the skin?
What comes first? CBD stands for cannabidiol, which is a chemical compound made from the cannabis plant. Nano Face Cream is always a mixture of the compound and oil like olive, hemp, or coconut.
Even though everyone agrees that more research needs to be done, a lot of studies have shown that CBD is good for the skin in many ways. CBD calms inflammation, which makes it a great ingredient to use on skin that gets acne. The skin can look and feel better if it is sensitive or reacts to things. Because CBD has antioxidants, it is one of many ways to keep your skin from getting old too quickly.
Review of the CBD Facial Cream-Balm Cleansing Mask from The Body Shop
This cleansing mask is said to have an "indulgent gel-to-milk texture" and a formula that "removes impurities without leaving [the skin] feeling dry." I thought the texture would be a little bit dry and maybe even a little bit rough because it has white clay in it. But I was so glad to be wrong.
The CBD Facial Cream-Balm Cleansing Mask is thick as fucc and spreads like a juicy dream. I like to put this on before I brush my hair and take off my clothes to get in the shower. It only takes 5 minutes to work its magic on the skin. After rinsing, you get a hint of that lovely, refreshed feeling that only the Eve Lom cleansing balm has ever given me.
Don't worry about the fact that your face smells like a bag of weed. It has a light, fresh floral scent when you put it on, but even that goes away quickly.
CBD Cream That Brings Back Moisture
The Body Shop wasn't lying when they said replenishing. The Replenishing Moisture Cream is very thick, which is excellent for my dry skin. The price for all that hydration is that this moisturizer doesn't sink into my skin as well as I'd like. Holika Holika's 3 Seconds Starter Collagen makes me feel greasy when I put it on top of my serum. But by itself, it only makes you feel a little bit sticky, which is fine until you have to put on your mask.
If you want the dewiest glow possible, put this on top of a serum or under Nano Face Cream. I'll probably use this at night or on days when I don't have to go anywhere. Those days happen a lot, haha.
The smell is mild and pleasant, just like the cleanser. There were no stinky smells.
CBD Facial Cream to Heal
Guys, adding CBD Facial Cream to your skincare routine will change everything. By adding a few drops to your moisturizer, you can change your skincare routine to fit the changing seasons. Here in Belgium, the central heating is back on full blast, and if I didn't have the extra moisture, I'd dry out overnight and turn into a raisin.
The Nano Face Cream has oils from sweet almonds, jojoba, hemp, and soybean. It feels light and quickly soaks into the skin.
Due to the huge price difference, it's almost unfair to compare Kiehl's Cannabis Sativa Nano Face Cream Herbal Concentrate Affiliate link to The Body Shop's Nano Face Cream. But since I have both, I will think of it as my duty.
When I got the package from The Body Shop, the first thing I did was smell the Nano Face Cream. If you've ever smelled the one from Kiehl's, you'll know why. Because it contains oregano oil, it makes your face smell like a pizza. The CBD Facial Cream is not nearly as offensive as the cream and has the same soft scent. Some green, some citrus, and some flowery. A delight.
If you're worried about it, though, you'll be disappointed to see that the INCI lists geraniol, citronellol, linalool, citral, and "fragrance," which doesn't say what it is. Kiehl's doesn't have any of those, so it's better for people with sensitive skin. The fact that it has 60% cannabis Sativa CBD Facial Cream could explain why it costs.
