Solid tumors are an abnormal mass of tissue that usually does not contain cysts or liquid areas. Solid tumors are classified according to where they are located. There are four different types which are subserosal, submucosal, cranial, and extrafollicular. Subserosal cancers can be found in several parts of the body such as the bladder, kidney, gallbladder, spleen, lungs, testicles, liver, and cervix. Submucosal cancers are found in the breast, lungs, heart, bones, abdomen, pancreas, and skin.
