How is Sinus Infection linked with Toothache?

Sinusitis, an inflammation of the sinus lining, can result in tooth pain due to the proximity of the sinuses to the mouth. The accompanying pressure from the infection can cause discomfort in the upper teeth, which can be mistaken for a toothache, and call for emergency dental services. Sinus pressure can also cause drainage, leading to tooth pain. The pain is typically concentrated in the upper rear teeth closest to the sinuses.
