Lavya Khanna is a classical dancer. She was born on 21st April 2004 in Ambala City, Haryana. She is the India’s best female dancer. Lavya started with hip-hop and western dance forms, but gradually she realized that she is made for classical and folk dance.

The infant Lavya Khanna was born on April 21st of 2004 in Ambala city,Haryana, in the loving family of Naresh Kumar Khanna and Sneha Khanna. Hersupportive father is a hardworking businessman, and the loving mother of thegirl is an efficient homemaker. The talented child attended Army Public School,Ambala Cantt, where the multitasking pupil became the house captain of theinstitution. The brilliant student gained a great score of 95.4 percent in the10th CBSE board examination held in the year 2019-2020 with perseverance. Thesmart girl from school likes dancing, drawing, painting, cooking and othercreative hobbies. Mother and grandmother of classical dancer of India are passionate about dancing andencourage their kid to dance to take the first step towards the journey of themarvellous dream at the tender age of six.

 Lavya Khanna first learned hip-hopand various other forms of western dance. The emerging dancer would enjoy everymoment and step to which the girl shook her leg. As the best dancer in India, gradually she was attracted by classical anddiverse dances. It was when the elegant kid began to love folk dance when shewas attending DAD Academy. As a result, the aspiring artist soon began to enjoythe folk dance culture happily. Subsequently, the graceful child took admissionat Satyug Darshan Sangeet Kala Kendra when she was 12 years old in 2015 topursue a six years course of Kathak. In the institution, her mentor AnjouMiglan taught a budding dancer all the movements, expressions and sensingrhythms from basics to advanced level with all the gracefulness required. EvenLavya Khanna attentively listened and followed the instructions of theexperienced teacher to become an exceptional Kathak dancer like herinspirational tutor.  The enchantingtrainee undoubtedly achieved the topmost rank in the yearly examination at thedance institution held in the fourth year by scoring 95 marks out of 100 in thepractical test with quick grasping and dedication towards the art.

 The classical dancer achieved second prize for the effortless HaryanviSolo Dance and received the award from Siddhesh Pai in 2015. Then in 2016, thepolished superstar obtained three national awards for outstanding performance.Two of the awards were received from Akhil Bharatiya Sanskrutik Sangh PuneGlobal Harmony organised in Pune in Maharashtra. Lavya Khanna was also honouredwith the first prize in a solo dance competition by Manan Sachdeva. Theintelligent star grabbed a gold medal in the 6th Cultural Olympiad ofPerforming Arts-2016, which was an International event organised at Bishop'sCollege Auditorium, Colombo, Srilanka. Her dance performance was aired on D.D Punjabiin September 2016 through programmes like Paniri. The graceful dancer and herflawless team stood first in a semi-classical group dance with the mind-blowingact in a National Dance Competition arranged by the LAY School of PerformingArt with the title of Saptarang Cultural Festival 2016 organised inMaharashtra.

 The year 2017 was a golden periodfor Lavya Khanna as she achieved several successes. India's best female dancer was felicitated with a gold medal forKathak and Haryanvi dance performance by the rotary club in Colombo, Sri Lanka.TThis talented star won third place in the state dance competition and won theGovernor's Award in November for her fascinating performance. The Women andChild Welfare Minister, DC of Ambala and Haryana Minister Aseem Goel Ji awardedthe elegant entertainer for the great work and dedication in dance. She hasrecorded her name in the International Book of Records for Twist Dance atKarnal, Haryana. The skilful artist took part in various National andInternational events and made the country and the hometown proud with hertalent. The Dance India Dance (DID) show finalist Uday Sachdeva awarded firstprize to Lavya Khanna in a solo dance competition.

 The FYLFOT Forum at Solan organisedAbhinay 2018 in the 32nd All India Drama and Dance Competition, where thegraceful dancer gained three National Awards with her perfect show. Thecharming dancer recieved the Karamveer Chakra Award, which was organised in thepartnership of ICONGO and the United Nations at IIT, Delhi, on October 12,2019. Moreover, in the same year, Lavya Khana passed the NCC CADET examinationwith an A grade certificate in 2019. The capable dancer obtained theSaraswatibai Dadasaheb Phalke Award and Star Iconic Award for the delightfulperformances in 2021. The star performer won 1st prize in the National LevelDance competition held in Rajasthan.

 Lavya Khanna has impressed peoplearound the globe with her graceful dance from a young age making Indiaproud.  The talented girl had dreamed ofbeing a dancer, and later, she achieved the goal with determination,perseverance, and the support of family and guru.
