R.D.: I'm the same type of player you are. I'm employed at Blizzard, so obviously that is a large portion of my time. But it's also because I'm a family and I'm always focused on my family and that's why I don't play games as much as I did while in the highschool years, where I'd skip going to classes and instead play games [laughsat the screen]. That was actually an important motivator in the design of a lot of the features included in this patch.
You can do almost everything in Broken Shore either alone or with a small group of people they can meet up with as you're going. There are areas like the Sentinax feature that is a sort of a cool escalating attack by a command vessel on a certain POI which is able to move around. You can go in there and not even form a group if wish and participate with other players.
It is possible to complete the World Quests solo however there are going to be others playing. The Legion assaults that take you to other regions within Broken Isles are also largely playable solo until the very end when you encounter a typical three-player game, which you are able to make a queue for yourself should you wish to. When you're playing this, you'll have the option to improve your reputation once the exalted level is reached. That threshold seal gets another patch. You can then continue to do your Emissary quests and continue receiving rewards for your reputation. In the event of an attack the quests in those World Quests add to your Emissary. Though it affects the World Quests that are available. During the time the zone is being assaulted, you're still making progress.
So , there's a ton of stuff you can do as a player who would like to get into the game for about half an hour this is usually one of my activities. I'll play for about 30 minutes, and an hour at an time, and you'll be capable of having a lot of fun and make many progress.
