Dr.Asha has over well over two decades of experience in field of obstetrics,gynecology and infertility. She is a well-known name ininfertility – both in treating patients and also in infertility education. Manyconsider her as a medical genius with an overarching vision to eradicateinfertility.
Dr.Asha has been instrumental in creating happy endings in their lives of morethan 6000 couples, by ensuring they have a child of their own. With her immenseknowledge, expertise, skills and cutting-edge medical technology, she has beenable to produce extraordinary success rates in the field of infertility. She ishighly dedicated to her vision and leaves no stone unturned to ensure that thecouple can take home a healthy baby and enjoy parenthood.

Growingup, Dr. Asha always wanted to be a doctor and serve society, and hers is astory of hard work, overcoming stiff challenges and impediments. She hasdemonstrated a razor-sharp focus on what she wants to achieve and usuallyaligns it with the greater good.
Dr.Asha graduated in Medicine from the prestigious Bangalore Medical College andstarted her career with Kidwai Institute of Oncology, Bangalore, as a seniorresident doctor. She then completed her post-graduation in Obstetrics &Gynecology in the year 1996 from Bangalore Medical College. Dr. Asha set up herown practice with ‘Sannidhi Multi-Specialty Hospital”. Over time, she gainedenormous experience in the field of Gynecology & Infertility. Over thecourse of 15 years of dealing with gynecology, obstetrics, and fertility issuesas part of her practice, she made it her life’s purpose to try and address thescourge if infertility.
Sheknew that people with reproductive disorders were clueless about whom toapproach and, how to decide about the treatment they have to adopt, how tomanage the costs etc. She also noticed that in many cases, the causes ofinfertility often went undiagnosed, and in most cases, the couples did not getthe right treatment at the right time. Even if they did get it, the treatmentwould be highly expensive with low success rates and barely within the reach ofa middle-class family. It was then that Dr. Asha, along with a team offirst-generation entrepreneurs, decided to approach the problem holistically -to provide world-class treatment and services at affordable costs.
Thus,GarbhaGudi IVF was born!

1.Founder - Garbhagudi IVF Center: Dr. Asha Vijay founded Garbhagudi IVF Center in2011 to provide holistic world-class fertility treatment at affordable cost.
Sincethen, there has been much progress towards this vision because of the founders’commitment, abilities, and determination to build a strong, value-basedorganization. GarbhaGudi’s hand-picked team of fertility specialists, includeshighly capable gynecologists, embryologists, technicians, and staff. They workclosely with patients to develop a personalized fertility treatment plan andoffer fertility treatments like IUI, IVF, donor programs, advanced treatmentoptions like ERA, PGD, sequential transfers and much more. Today, GarbhaGudi’ssuccess rate stands at over 65%, which is one of the highest in the industry.
2.Founder - GGIRHR(Garbhagudi Institute of Reproductive Health and Research):
Dr.Asha is the Dean and Scientific Director of GGIRHR, a premier institute in thefield of reproductive health training and research.
Thisinstitution provides top-notch training in the field of infertility. It offersa wide choice of online and offline courses which provide phenomenal learningand upskilling opportunities to gynecologists, medical students, urologists,science graduates, and para-medical staff. GGIRHR’s primary aim has been toshare the rich expertise and success in infertility and reproductivetechnologies of the parent organization - GarbhaGudi IVF.
3.Founder Trustee of GarbhaGnan Foundation: Dr. Asha is part of the foundingtrust of GarbhaGnan Foundation, a trust that is established for fulfilling thecorporate social responsibility of GarbhaGudi group. The aim is to help theeconomically weaker sections of the society in getting infertility treatment,educate and train doctors practicing in rural areas to address infertility inthe right way, at the right time.
