Surah Al Kahf spoke of many incidents. The cave story is the most famous and it is how the surah got its name. The story of a man of the gardens, the story of Moussa and the blessed kheder, and the story of Dhul-Qarnayn. The surah also has many verses with instructions to Muslims.
The talk about the resurrection was repeated in Surah Al-Kahf, where it is considered one of the most prominent themes of the surah and its main themes.
the story of the Companions of the Cave, who were young men who believed in Allah, and affirmed His Oneness.
They found a cave to which they were sheltering, and no one saw them, and with them, their dog comforted them in their loneliness.
They were running from the injustice of their people who unlike them didn’t believe in Allah. Allaheventually kept them in the cave for more than 300 years and it was a miracle.
Verses moved from talking about the story of the owners of the cave to talking directly about the story of the owner of the gardens.
A man who becomes arrogant and ungrateful to Allah and Allah punishes him by taking away his garden.
A story of a great man who walked the earth with power and became a great ruler in the ancient world.
The story also mentions that Dhul-Qarnayn built a great dam between people and Yagog and Magog.
1- Surah Kahf is a light that illuminates the path of guidance for those who read it, as it stops the Muslim from disobedience and sins,
and guides him to the path of good and righteousness.
And it may be a real, tangible light, as it was reported on the authority of Abdullah bin Omar –
may Allah be pleased with him – that the Prophet – may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him –
said: “If he recites Surat Al-Kahf on Friday, a light will shine for him from under his feet to the clouds of heaven that will shine with it on the Day of Resurrection,
and he will be forgiven. between the two Fridays).
2- Surat Al-Kahf protects and protects its reciter from the trial of the Antichrist by memorizing the first ten verses of it.
There are many hadiths confirming this. Including: What was reported on the authority of Abu al Darda – may Allah be pleased with him – that the Prophet – may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him – said: “Whoever memorizes ten verses from the beginning of Surat Al-Kahf will be protected from the Antichrist.” [6] And what Imam Muslim narrated in his Sahih: Whoever among you catches it, let him recite to him the opening verses of Surat Al-Kahf).
It was said that it is the last ten verses of Surat Al-Kahf, as stated in the narration brought by Ibn Hibban: (Whoever recites ten verses from the last of the Cave will be protected from the Antichrist).
The Quraish sent a man to Jewish rabbis in Medina, to ask them about Muhammad, for they are the People of the First Book, and they know what we do not have of the knowledge of the prophets.
The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, described to them his command and some of his sayings, and they said: You are the people of the Torah, and we have come to you to tell us about this friend of ours.
The dog’s name is not mentioned in the surah al kahf nor the exact number of his friends. The dog was mentioned in the story of the people of the cave, and it is the dog that accompanied the boys who believed in Allah Almighty, and Allah increased them with guidance and faith.
One of the best times to read Surat Al-Kahf is from the beginning of Friday until its night, that is, from sunset on Thursday, until sunset on Friday, and in general the times of night and the ends of the day are always the best for reciting the Qur’an.
Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reported: The Prophet, peace, and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever recites Surat al-Kahf on Friday will have a light between this Friday and the next.”
